Last week my daughter Rebekah took this picture of my grandson, Jimmy,  checking out his favorite blog. They visited us for 2 weeks.

I normally keep the tulip  sculpture on the shelf above the computer desk, but set it next to the monitor for this photo.

Thanks, Freen, for sending this old ad that featured me as a child. I had forgotten all about this. I remember meeting Corky Velveeta the day before. He just appeared suddenly in my front yard and prevented me from running into the street where, seconds later, a car accident occurred.  

I am sending Mr. McLederhosen a check for $7,000 and a lifetime subscription to Century Magazine, the magazine that is published every 100 years.

Found this old picture of me as a mere child back in Houston, Texas. My mother had bought the Spurgeon shirt from a door to door Spurgeon T-Shirt and Beach Towel salesman. They used to work morning and evening.
