Special Surprise Winners

This contest was for the Calvinistic Cartoons follower who has the most children. Lo and behold, our research team found two mothers who tied for first place. Congratulations to Lily Pondue and Mia Tobogen, who each gave birth to sixteen kids! You both have won two thousand books of your choice. The catalog should be on your doorstep after you read this post. Just check off the books you want and within a week every single volume will be "delivered" to your home! Thanks for playing!

Church Visitation

Corky Velveeta and I decided to visit the Grace to Y'all Church Near Two Active Volcanoes yesterday, but they were closed for repairs. Pastor Rowan Keemah told us it would be next Ash Wednesday before the building would be ready for service.

Ladder Daydreams

For Googlers:
To enlarge even larger - left click on picture. Google brings up pic with black background (not much bigger, if at all). Then, right click on pic and a pop-up pops up. Choose "Open image in new tab". Then, click on new tab located now at the tab bar at the top. Now you will be able to increase the size with the little, tiny magnifying glass provided. Thanks goes to Bleach McMuffins for bringing this problem to my attention.

Finney & Wesley Spotted on 66

Benny Finney and Elvis Wesley were photographed on route 66 by Calvinistic Cartoons follower, T-Bone Willis, Sunday afternoon. T-Bone stopped and talked to Benny while they filled their tanks with unleaded gas. Mr. Finney is drumming up some cash for a new project that promises to "ban non-free will people from all future elections". When asked about Calvinistic Cartoons, Benny spit on the ground and yelled, "Get away from my chapel ya rotten apple!" Then he sprayed T-Bone with a seltzer bottle full of Mountain Dew and left  without Elvis Wesley. Thirty seconds later Benny Finney rounded the gas station and Elvis jumped in and they both sped away shaking their fists.

Moving Back!

Relocating Calvinistic Cartoons

There comes a time in every life where you must bust a move. We here at Calvinistic Cartoons will be moving to another location today. Sorry for the short notice, brothers and sisters, but circumstances demand it. Calvinistic Cartoons will no longer be located at this present location. No, we are moving our entire office building, with the thousands of staff members still working diligently to provide you with the best Calvinistic humor money can't buy, a block over. Thank you for your patience while this is underway.

Member (dis) Member

Throughout the life of this blog, members have joined and suddenly disappeared. I check my blog daily and I am always thrilled when someone joins CC. Yesterday I had 351 members - now it's down to 349.
I used to think someone out there was murdering Calvinists (I have posted about that elsewhere on this blog). But now, I have come to believe that Arminians, who don't know they're Arminians, join this blog wanting some humor in their lives. They don't know the difference between Calvinism and Arminianism - they just see the word "Cartoons" and jump in feet first. As they scroll down, examine the archives and read the comments, they come to the realization that they are allergic to TULIPS and quickly rip out their membership!
If you are a Calvinistic blogger - has this ever happened to you? Do you have another theory?

Stopping CC for a While

As much as I have enjoyed CC and as much as many of you have enjoyed CC, I am putting on the brakes, so to speak, for a few months. I don't know if I can hold out that long, to be honest with you. CC has become an obsession with me as of late. I think about it too much. It not good for my health, in many ways. Problem is, CC has become more than a past time - it has become an addiction. People give up things for various reasons - years ago, I had to stop, cold turkey, playing a computer game called "City of Heroes", because it dominated my life to the point where I was not studying and reading the Word like I should. So I put a stop to it and never returned. This is why I am putting a stop to CC for a undetermined length of time. Coca-Cola will no longer be my main soft drink. I am switching to a drink with vitamin C - probably an Orange or Grape drink for a while. I will return to CC in the future, but for now, I will be stopping, cold turkey!
