Off the Beaten Path

 Just wanted to share a few favorites in hope of you sharing a few of yours.

One of my favorite places in the world is Dubai. I've been there a dozen times already and always find it totally fascinating. An amazing city with lots to offer. 

 This CD I downloaded on my iPod and have listened to it for years. I have never tired of it because every song is so different from the next. A really nice mix with a sci-fi theme about Christians in the future. Check it out when you get an opportunity.

As far as books go (and they go far) this one is a fun read!

Flying First Class

Yes, that's me at the wheel of my new Calvinistic Cartoonmobile. (it's worth the click to enlarge) Corky Velveeta brought this back from the future and gave it to me just in time for my Dubai trip. Who says a blogger doesn't get perks every once in a while. Thanks Corky! You da man!

The Dubai Initiative

Corky Velveeta and I traveled to Dubai to claim the Atlantis Hotel as our own. (Note the CC flag in the background.) We hope to set up another Calvinistic Cartoons base there. If we are successful we will have rooms for every blogger or blog reader to stay in, for free, when they visit. My space helmet was at the cleaners that day.

Time for me to say Farewell

Well, looks like it is time for me to go. I really hate to drop Calvinistic Cartoons but, for everything there is a season...and it's my season to vacation in Dubai. I will be leaving for Dubai on Saturday and returning the next Saturday, August 28. Until then, you will not even notice. I have everything pre-scheduled now until September 25, so enjoy a week of Just for Laughs. See you all when I get back!

Just Got Back from Dubai

My wife and I just got back from a mini-vacation in Dubai. I had no computer with me so I wasn't able to respond to any questions or comments. Came back refreshed and with some really good ideas for future posts. (I have all my CC pre-scheduled a month in advance) But FYI, feel free to post anything from my blog to yours!
