Those Pesky Sandstorms
You can't say I didn't try. I landed near Nigel Pettibone (seen in the above photo) and yelled for him to hop in. He whacked my Calvinistic Cartoonmobile with his cane and said he would rather choke on a mouthful of sand than swallow a spoonful of Calvinism! He still doesn't realize I have a tracking device in his cane. He can't damage it no matter how many times he whacks something.

Find the Easter Eggs Contest
Easter eggs are things that aren't in the original picture. They are carefully, or not so carefully, hidden right before your eyes. How many "eggs" are there in this photo? I'm not tellin'. As a bonus question, tell me from what movie this scene came from. Of course, as always, enlarging the picture will help a lot. Oh yeah, the first to get all the "eggs" wins a free Starbucks cup of coffee (your choice) at any Kuwait Starbucks at the Avenues Mall in Kuwait. The Avenues has eight Starbucks so far. All you have to do is fly here and collect your prize! It's just that simple!

Nigel Closing In

Surprise Move
In a surprise move, last night, Nigel Pettibone was seen diving from an aircraft not too far from the Calvinistic Cartoons Secret Headquarters in Kuwait. Nigel was overheard telling someone that he was on a "mission of extreme gravity". As he jumped, he yelled, "Remember the bombing of Pearl Bailey!" No one has seen him since.

Starbucks Ruckus
Nigel Pettibone seen here leaving a Starbuck's in Salmiya, Kuwait. He was told to leave after a commotion was started over the Coffee of the Day. It seems Mr. Pettibone refused to pay for a Cinnamon flavored Mocha Blend because he thought they were calling him "Sinner man". He's a little hard of hearing, y'know.

Stylin'
This is actually a fan photo where the $7,000 prize payment goes to good use. It seems that photographer, Toby Cooper, got a little too close when he jumped from behind a palm tree and my car smacked him down. He is recovering quite well at the Kuwait Hospital and Hotel in Salmiya. Toby suffered from a broken camera and a small cut above his eyebrow.

At the Kuwait Airport
Nigel Pettibone was photographed minutes ago, at the Kuwait airport wielding his cane. Ironically, he has named his cane, "Abel", because he is "able" to use it in so many ways...and because of the two brothers in the book of Genesis, Cain and Abel. Sounds a little crazy to me, but it's a fact. I just don't make these things up, y'know.

Nigel Pettibone Headed for Kuwait
Nigel Pettibone, the cantankerous and easily agitated Arminian, was seen boarding a passenger plane for Kuwait early this morning. This photo was snapped on an iPhone by longtime Calvinistic Cartoons fan, Leroy Mackafee, and sent with this text attached: "When Mr. Pettibone sat down in front of me, a note fell from his pocket. I picked it up an handed it to him. The note read - Find Eddie and teach him a lesson he won't forget! Lots of luck, Benny. Just wanted to let you know so you could be on the look out."
Now I am not sure if Nigel has an outlined lesson from Dave Hunt on Calvinism vs Arminianism, or if there is a more sinister intent behind the note. I will have several CC followers stationed at the Kuwait airport. They will keep Mr. Pettibone off my trail. I have asked them to follow and send photos while Nigel P. is searching Kuwait for the Calvinistic Cartoons headquarters.

Relocating Calvinistic Cartoons
There comes a time in every life where you must bust a move. We here at Calvinistic Cartoons will be moving to another location today. Sorry for the short notice, brothers and sisters, but circumstances demand it. Calvinistic Cartoons will no longer be located at this present location. No, we are moving our entire office building, with the thousands of staff members still working diligently to provide you with the best Calvinistic humor money can't buy, a block over. Thank you for your patience while this is underway.

Leaving Q8 Tonight
Leaving Kuwait tonight. Flying to the U.S. of A. to spend the summer with family and friends. Even though it appears that Corky needs more prayer than I...believe me, he doesn't. Pray for me and my family as we try and pack as much quality time in our stay. I left the Calvinistic Cartoons pantry stocked with goodies for your enjoyment and edification while I'm away. I'll stay in touch.

Fan Photo from Poochie Montoya
Thanks for the comic panels from a DC comic (that's DC for Democratic Charismatics) that strangely has some parallels to a certain blogger. This comic strip was originally printed in 1967, as a short story, in a magazine entitled, Ticket to Trouble, and the lead character was named, Eddie Headings.
Mr. Montoya will be receiving a $7,000 check anytime within the next two month of Sundays.

Sandstorm!
This short video is just a small portion of what is happening RIGHT NOW as I am typing. Thank God, that my wife and I were home. I looked out my 10th story apartment and saw the sandstorm coming just like what you see here. The roaring wind is shaking the windows and doors and sand is getting in the rooms. I can't see the building across the street anymore. It's there...just can't see it. There is a fine, moon-dust like sand that can blow in from any small opening or between the sliding doors or windows. You can smell and taste it. I can rake my finger on any surface in the house now and there is this "sand dust". It's a little hazy as I view my computer monitor. I'm sure our cars will be covered in sand by tomorrow. The storm has been going on now for hours and I don't know when it will let up. I have never seen anything like this. That's the Kuwait update. Please remember my wife in prayer. She has asthma and this is a monster sand storm.
