Paul "Tex" Yearout talks to the NOW generation about the STEREO generation! I have heard about the NOW generation but had no idea that there was a STEREO generation...hmmm, guess Tex prevented it from spreading any further. I wonder how this would sound today. His next album should have been entitled, "Three Strikes and Yearout". Anyone out there who used to be part of the Stereo generation? My copy of this album is in mono.

On a good note, the Baptists who made this album repented a week after it's release. Their follow-up album will be out in July. They promised to tithe their profits...if they don't backslide again.

The Tulip 5 Quintet

Found this old photo of a music ensemble I was a part of before starting Calvinistic Cartoons. We recorded a Gospel album we entitled, "It's Absolutely Free!" - hence, people got the wrong message and just walked out of the store with our album under their arms. Our second album was entitled, "It Cost Everything" and this time no one even attempted to purchase one. We went our separate ways after that. See if you can spot anyone you might recognize in the photo. They all became successful and each one made a few albums of their own.

It Could Happen

Corky Velveeta on Record

On his way to his next destination, Corky was able to stop at Nashville and record a few songs with The Potter's Freedom Four. His assignment, of course, is to help promote Calvinistic Cartoons wherever he goes. In keeping with his mission, Corky wrote two songs for the album above. The first, "C.C. Amigos" is about friends of Calvinistic Cartoons who plug this blog on their site. The second number, "Adios Muchacos" was written about followers who mysteriously disappear. It is a tear jerker let me tell you. You will be able to purchase this fine album at the Guy Caballero's Christian Knick Knack and Music Emporium in downtown Nashville, Ontario.

Guy Caballero, seen in the photo below, tried to become Corky's agent after the album sold over 14 copies in a single day!

Mark This Record

This is actually a fan photo from Herbie Popnecker, a long-time fan of the old Rifleman TV series. Pictured above is Johnny Crawford who played Mark McCain, Lucas McCain's only son. It's great to know he is playing Big Band Music and recording some of the songs I wrote for his band. I didn't want to mention this before, since I have been studying about humility and all. So Herbie, for uncovering this rare, present day album, I am sending you a check for $3,742.19
